Frequently asked questions
Campus Chaos is a one-of-a-kind touring game show built for college life—part competition, part party, and 100% “you had to be there.” We roll into different campuses with a live setup, pull real students into the spotlight, and throw them into fast, unpredictable rounds that mix trivia, challenge games, and pure crowd energy. And this isn’t just for clout—there are real prizes on the line, plus the occasional celebrity guest showing up to stir the pot, hype the crowd, and make the episode even more legendary. When Campus Chaos comes to town, it’s not just a show… it’s the event.
In general, you should be:
21+ (STUDENT, ALUMNI OR STRONGLY AFFILIATED)
Comfortable being filmed and on camera
Able to join a virtual audition if selected
Fill out the application and upload:
One recent photo
Optional video (up to 60 seconds) telling us why you’d be a great contestant Videos aren’t required, but they help us see your vibe.
Not always. Most casts are student-heavy, but we also love alumni, staff, and locals when a shoot calls for it. If the application says “students only,” we’ll stick to that for that round.
No—but we strongly recommend it. A quick, genuine 30–60 seconds can make you stand out.
Keep it simple and real. Tell us:
Your name, school (if applicable), and year
Why you’re fun on camera
What makes you “Campus Chaos” material (competitive? hilarious? fearless?)
A quick example: “I’m the friend who ___” or “I’m known for ___”
Phone selfie video is perfect.
Yes—light rules so we can actually see you:
No TikTok-style edits (heavy cuts, filters, loud music overlays, or giant captions everywhere)
Keep it under 60 seconds
Make sure we can hear you clearly
Film in good lighting (face visible!)
If you’re a fit, we’ll contact you to schedule a phone interview or virtual audition.
What is the virtual audition like?
Short, friendly, and low stress. Typically includes:
A quick chat to see your personality
A few sample prompts/questions
A brief on-camera test (nothing fancy—just you being you)
Just the basics:
A phone or laptop with a camera
Stable internet
A quiet-ish spot with decent lighting
We’re looking for people who are:
Fun, expressive, and comfortable on camera
Quick thinkers (even if you’re chaotic about it)
Good sports who can handle wins and Ls
Not afraid to be a little loud (in a good way)
Usually yes—apply individually, and you can mention friends you’d love to compete with. Casting can’t guarantee you’ll be paired, but we do consider it for group-friendly episodes.
Filming locations vary by episode (campus spots, bars, event venues, etc.). If you’re selected, we’ll share the exact location and call time.
Most contestants should plan for:
A few hours total (check-in, prep, filming)
Exact timing depends on the episode and venue
Solid colors or simple patterns work best
Avoid tiny stripes, busy prints, or huge logos (unless we say it’s fine)
Wear something that feels like you (and something you can move in)
Yes—prizes vary by episode and sponsor. Details will be shared when you’re selected and again at filming.
No.
If selected, you’ll likely be asked to sign standard participation paperwork (appearance release, rules, etc.) so we can film and use the content.
Absolutely!
We want Campus Chaos to be accessible. If you need accommodations for auditions or filming, let us know when we contact you (or note it in your application if there’s a field).
We use your info to review applications and contact you about auditions/casting. If you’re selected, some content may be used for promotion (per the release you’ll review).
Be cool. No harassment, hate speech, threats, or unsafe behavior. We’re here for chaos—the fun kind.
Let us know ASAP so we can notify an alternate.
